Hey everyone!
I thought you might like to see a little bit of where I’m living! We live in a house in a motel and we have the BEST land lady around. Denise is like our mom. She bakes us food and hangs out with us. We adore her! She rocks so much.
Here are a couple pictures of the outside of the house!
Here is our awesome Terrace School mini-van in the “car port”! Notice the change in driver’s side!! :)
We live pretty close to farm area. (Denise’s husband and son go hunting in our backyard most nights. They shoot rabbits!) Here are some pictures of our backyard and our animal friends.
Also, here are a couple pictures of the view out of our house. I can’t complain about the view, it’s gorgeous every morning!! Also, here’s a picture of the speed limit sign. It’s 70km per hour on this part of the road. I think the signs are cute when they’re little and round.
We have a very nice washing machine.... and dryer!! By dryer I mean we have clothes line. I actually really enjoy letting my clothes air dry. I know I’m a weirdo but I think it’s really fun hanging them up!
Of course, we have an inside too! Here are some pictures of the living area and Courtney and Laura’s room! It’s really spacious and comfortable. We have everything we need here!
Here is mine and Emily’s room! She has the big bed! Also, I put up a picture of my closet with my overabundance of shoes :)
Last but not least, I want to show you one of my new “gyms.” We bike to and from school everyday and we walk around a lot, but if you know me well, you’ll know I need to work out! I go to a CrossFit class with my cooperating teacher every Monday, but on my off days, I make the outdoors my gym. Here are the stairs of death. (Just kidding, they just are really hard to run up and down over and over again) and a view from the bridge that I lunge across almost every day. I get some odd looks but most of the time I get a nod of encouragement! This is a really exercise conscious country. I love it! :)
I thought it would be nice for you to see where I’m living, so I hope you enjoyed seeing our little house as much as we love living in it!
